The Kalamunda Community Learning Centre (KCLC) is a non-profit organisation offering a variety of subjects in a non-threatening environment. It has been operating since 1977. The Centre's philosophy is "Learning through Sharing", and its co-ordinators, tutors and workgroup leaders are all volunteers.
The Centre publishes a regular newsletter called Centretalk.
By requesting that all members (people doing courses) give a small amount of time to workgroups, the Centre is able to keep course fees to a minimum. For details of fees click here:
A professionally staffed creche, run on a roster basis for children between the ages of eight weeks and six years is available for members when attending the Centre. For details click here:
Class times are 9.45am to 11.45am and 12.45pm to 2.45pm Monday to Friday. Some classes (mainly Book Clubs) are held on Tuesday Wednesday evenings - for details click here:
